Max, Superintendent: A Trusted Resource in the Wake of Tragedy

Having experienced a tragic student suicide cluster and supported other school districts in similar crises, I can attest firsthand that the HEARD Alliance website is an essential component of any superintendent’s toolbox. The K-12 Toolkit, especially the postvention section, was instrumental in helping us with strategies and messaging to support our students, staff, and greater community in the weeks and months during and following the tragic events.

The Toolkit has become THE go-to resource as I work with districts around the country on student and staff mental health and wellbeing supports.
